My Highlights of 2018

I liked the pizza party because pizza is my favourite food and it's yum. I got to eat two pieces of pizza.  My favourite pizza is Hawaiian.

We got to make catapults which was fun. I really liked because it was cool and we used small poms poms to hit people with. I got Kingston on the face.

I really liked going to the YMCA pools to practice our swimming. I got to dive into the water.  It was scary at the beginning but I got better.

We learnt to dive into the water and swim to the other end. It was cool and a lot of fun.

My Dream Job.

My dream job is to be a truck driver because it is fun and cool to me. I would
like to drive big trucks when I am older.

Tip Top.

Thank you tip top for the ice block, it was so yummy my favourite part was the kiwifruit, the green part. Last Thursday was so hot my ice block cooled me down.

What was your favourite activity at athletics day? Why? My favourite activity was relays because it was fun . what was your biggest challenge my biggest challenge was high jump because the pole kept falling off. what was the funniest thing that happened at athletics day why the funniest thing that happened at athletics day was when t i hit my face because evelyone laugheg.

Movie Review

Are you sick and tired of those long boring Hollywood Blockbusters? Well then Manaiakalani movies are just the thing for you.
This movie Forever Simply Me is by Room 14 from Pt England School for the 2009 Manaiakalani Film Festival.
The main idea for this movie is all about being yourself. I enjoyed the song and the actors.
I rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars.

Skipping

Today we got to do skipping, it was fun and exciting because my favourite part was jumping. We got in to teams and we did relays and we skipped on the court and back again. The big rope was fun and I did 5 jumps and went very high.

My Narrative

One day in a castle lived a king. Outside lived his dog called Michael. Everyday they went for a walk to find money. They walked through the forest and over the mountain. On this day, at the top of the mountain they found 1 million dollars. The nice king shared the money with his friends.

My Kite

My kite is cool colourful and it is cool and i made it red green blue yellow my kite can fly in the sky

The Seven Sisters of Matariki

By the river there was a house of seven sisters. Every year the seven sisters made kites to celebrate the harvest. Each sister made different kites. Red, white, orange, green, pink and rainbow. 

The sisters went up the mountain to fly their kites. There was no wind so they tied their kites around the tree and went to sleep.

In the night the wind came and the kites flew into the sky. The little sister woke up and saw the kites shining with the stars.

The kites always shine at Matariki.

The Zoo

Last week my class went to the Auckland Zoo. We went to the zoo to learn all about how they look after the animals. My favourite animal was the elephant because it was so big. We also went to the Bug Lab. The bugs were so disgusting. I had so much fun at the Auckland Zoo. Thank you Zoo!
